A lamp with an archetypal form. A familiar item made with tin soldered galvanised sheet by possibly one of the last tinsmith in Singapore. The handmade quality and slight irregularities exude certain warmth despite the cold galvanised surface.
This is a result from an on-going collaboration with the tinsmith, who’s career spans decades, beginning with fabricating and supplying nanyang coffee-making pots in the past, to only repairing the mass-produced versions made overseas now.
