A Tent2011
A project commissioned by DesignMiami/ Basel in response to the theme “Conversation Pieces”. We were working on creating an installation that invites fluid interaction between people and space.
To encourage interaction, perhaps the best way is to choreograph a situation in which people do not feel forced to enter and acquaint with the space or with someone else within. Constructed with a bare minimal structure, it visually delineates itself from the surroundings, but is free of physical encumbrances that conceal.
